When to Use Mobile Notary

  • Original Protocol orders that require in-state physical notarization (Remote Online Notary is not accepted for Original Protocol)
  • Private documents with a signature block needing jurat notarization for Original Protocol
  • Clients who cannot travel to a notary office
  • Time-sensitive signings at your home, office, or other location

Mobile Notary vs. Remote Online Notary

Mobile Notary is an in-person service where the notary physically travels to you. It is required for Original Protocol orders where the document must be notarized by a physical notary in the issuing state. Remote Online Notary is a video-based digital notarization that works for True Copy apostille workflows and clients located outside the U.S.
